Company History

Nelico Inc. was founded in 1994, by Carl Nelson with himself as the only employee. Doing business as Rocky Mountain Abrasives, the company started out strictly selling the Accustrip which uses Armex Sodium Bicarbonate (Baking Soda) to clean in specific applications. Looking to diversify the company began selling pressure washing equipment and supplies. These product lines fit well together as they are both used in the cleaning industry. Nelico soon became a leader in the water cleaning industry for Wyoming. Wanting to be a full service supply company for pressure washers Nelico looked to the small engine manufacturers to become certified for small engine parts and repair. Along with the engines came a full range of power equipment. Nelico soon became a leader in the small engine equipment industry for Wyoming. To diversify further Nelico added a line of utility trailers.

By 1994 the name Rocky Mountain Abrasives no longer stated what we did as a company. We decided to use our incorporated name and began doing business as Nelico Equipment Service & Supplies. Nelico had established sales and service technicians in various cities around the state. The Rock Springs area was doing so well that Nelico added its first branch location there in May of 2006. Nelico now has over 25 employees in two locations. No one knows sandblasting equipment, water cleaning equipment, small engines, and trailers like Nelico Equipment Service & Supplies. Our customer service is unmatched in staffing and background.
